Reno-Tahoe International Airport
If you are flying, we HIGHLY suggest flying in and out of Reno-Tahoe International Airport in Reno, NV. It is a 45 minute drive from there to Truckee, with very easy roads to navigate into the mountains. It's also a gorgeous drive so we suggest driving when it's light out so you can enjoy the scenery.
Sacramento International Airport
If for some reason Reno isn't working out for you, another easy airport to get in and out of is Sacramento. However, plan for at least 2 hours to get into the mountains.
San Francisco International Airport
If you're looking to see the world-famous city, San Francisco is ~3 hour drive from Lake Tahoe. We make this drive almost weekly and it's best if you leave early from the city to beat the traffic, otherwise it can take up to 4 or 5 hours. We highly suggest going to SF if you have the time and luxury! Let us know if you plan to go and we can provide recommendations.

***EDIT 6.16.21: The The Ritz, Hampton Inn, and Best Western are SOLD OUT. If you still need accommodations, we recommend booking a VRBO/Air Bnb or checking out the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Truckee or the Truckee Hotel.
Please note, Tahoe is very popular during the summertime. Accommodations will book up quickly and/or prices will increase significantly if you wait until the last minute. We suggest booking ASAP!
*The wedding will be on the NORTH side of the lake so keep that in mind when looking for lodging!
Rentals
If you are looking for a traditional Tahoe cabin experience, there are TONS of amazing houses and condos in the Truckee/Donner area. Again, they all book very quickly (sometimes a year in advance) so if this is your preference, we suggest booking ASAP. North Star has a lot of great rental options through VRBO or Air BnB and it is just a gondola ride away from the wedding venue!
